Beautifully curated culinary experiences
There are two dining areas at the lodge, depending on the temperature. The restaurant inside is cosy, boasting a roaring fire for colder African nights, while the outdoor dining enjoys an open-air fire, which makes for the perfect place to gather under star-soaked night skies. Both sport uninterrupted views that drop dramatically down into the Crater.
Lounge & Unwind
There is also a neighbouring bar and lounge area and a snug little library. We highly recommend that you try a local speciality cocktail in the form of a dawa. The word ‘ dawa’ translated from the local language, Swahili, as medicine and it is a deliciously refreshing alcoholic drink of white spirits poured over honey or brown sugar, lime and mint, freshy picked from the lodge’s garden.
